a) Lovely staff, great breakfast, clean room

a) Tiny rooms, no kettle, overpriced

Brand-new rooms with central heating, TV set, and an electronic key card, I appreciated it. The cost was usd 1861. The location of the hotel was ideal - relatively close to Nordstan Shopping Centre. The staff was professional and service-oriented, and the restaurant was good.

I appreciated that the room was nice with less conveniences, bathroom, very comfy beds. The breakfast was outstanding and great with many organic choises, different food.

Had a great time at Scandic! The breakfast spread blew my mind with so many tasty options. Comfy beds for a good night's sleep. Sure, the room felt a bit snug, but the cozy vibe made up for it. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect location, Gothenburg City airport was 20 km away. The room I stayed in was unique and comfortable modern with many mirrors, comfortable beds, as for instance. Actually everything was modern, my next choice again in Gothenburg...

Good location, near Central Train Station, very comfortable room and generous breakfast

The bed was super comfy, but I wished the room was bigger.

Location is good, close to train station and center of city. Friendly "family like" staff. My room was large and comfortable with basic standard and free internet worked well although slow at times.

Mattress was softer than soft. Missed minibar or at least water in the room.

Considering the hotel is in middle of major renovation the reception staff are doing very well to keep this Hotel open. We have stayed at Rica before and the rooms have been improved with modern fittings and fixtures. The windows have 4x glazing which stops noise from the train station outside. So no reason to not get a good night sleep. We would stay again.

Rica Hotel is in the middle of a major renovation, we didnt know about this. As the breakfast room was unavailable we had a breakfast bag delivered to our room. This was ok but not ideal.

Breakfast Delight and Cozy Vibes

The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, offering a diverse menu that catered to all dietary needs. The staff were friendly, always willing to assist with a smile.

Unfortunately, the rooms felt quite cramped, especially with larger luggage. The noise from adjacent rooms could be bothersome at times.

The very comfortable room, very nice and clean and just renewed. Very nice colors and a bathroom of the highest standards.

Personally I found the bed a little bit to soft, but that`s just a personal opinion. Unfortunately the restaurant was renovated during my stay, but if they make it as beautiful as my room, than there is no problem for the future to stay again here!

Free tea and coffee to all guests at all times of the day and good wifi connection.

The radiator in my room was partially functioning so it was a little cold.

Family with children can feel at home

The breakfast was a real highlight tons of choices including pancakes that my kids loved. One day we just chilled in the lobby with snacks a cozy nook right near the bar.

Marvellous and brilliant position along a quaint alley facing the railway tracks. The silent and spotless room with a view. Quick check-in, parking close to the hotel.

The staff were fantastically friendly and all spoke excellent English. The Breakfast and general service was really good and the room was cleaned to the utmost everyday. Great hotel, would definitely recommend and stay again.
